TAG Heuer celebrated the rich history of the TAG Heuer Carrera and its affinity to motor sports. Vintage car enthusiasts that are members of the exclusive Heritage Motoring Club of India came together at The Grand Hotel in Dheli to exhibit their bevy of beauties spanning over the last 50 years (1963 –2013). The drive way of the hotel sparkled with automobile royalty that included the iconic Carreras, Mustangs, Fords, Buicks, Mercedes, Rolls Royces and many more totalling to 50 Vintage Cars.

TAG Heuer took the opportunity to launch new timepieces in India: TAG Heuer CARRERA Calibre 36 Chronograph Flyback “Racing”; TAG Heuer CARRERA Calibre 8 Grande Date - GMT – COSC; TAG Heuer CARRERA CALIBRE 16 Date; TAG Heuer CARRERA CALIBRE 1887 CHRONOGRAPH - Jack Heuer Edition and the Heuer Carrera Calibre 17 – Jack Heuer 80 years Edition.

After the press conference to kick start the “50th Anniversary of The Carrera” celebration, the guests were seen enjoying canapés and cocktails, before heading for a memorable drive. Brand ambassador Shahrukh Khan led a convoy of 50 vintage cars through picturesque South Delhi. Each of the Vintage Cars that were part of the convoy was a landmark creation in the era that it was created. Elegance and style: the drive was reminiscent of the golden time that the Carrera has seen since its launch in 1963.
